Elise Frawley, a New York-based violist, excels in performing and recording classical, contemporary, and pop music. Her extensive performance history includes collaborations with numerous orchestras such as the Orchestra of St. Luke's, American Ballet Theatre, American Symphony Orchestra, Albany Symphony, New Haven Symphony, and Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic. She co-founded the contemporary chamber ensemble Atlantic Collective and forms half of a viola/piano duo with renowned pianist Nuno Marques. Elise's television appearances span Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, The Late Show, Live from Here, America's Got Talent, and Amazon Prime's Mozart in the Jungle. Her collaborations in the music industry are equally impressive, having worked with artists like Paul Simon, St. Vincent, Danger Mouse, Alessia Cara, and many others. An alumna of the Manhattan School of Music and NYU, where she also taught as an Adjunct Instructor of Viola, Elise currently teaches at the 92nd Street Y, Trinity School, and Killington Music Festival in Vermont.
